Something is shifting in my life, and I am going with it. It’s not easy, but it’s simple… Does that make sense? Shifts can be subtle. I saw an email recently from my kids’ school that they have off on March 8 and 9. “Oh no!” I thought. “I need for them to be in school those days!” Hmmm…. Not exactly the response I would like to have. Sure, we all have that reaction sometimes. In fact, there are many times when my kids are fighting, whining, or just generally annoying me when I think, “GO TO COLLEGE.” But I don’t like feeling that way. I always get a little sentimental around Valentine’s Day. It could be because my birthday was supposed to be on that day, and when my mom came home from delivering me, my grandmother had made a beautiful heart cake.
