For a lot of mothers, the end of the school year is often similar to the year before. Spring is in the air, summer fever is beginning to set in for the kids, and vacation plans are beginning to be formed. Yet for some mothers, this time is just a little scarier than previous years. For moms who have children graduating from high school or college, there can be mixed emotions about this time of the year. The weekend is over. And just like that, back to our normal routines of making lunches and repeatedly saying “go, go, go…we are going to be late!” this morning. Mondays (similar to the first day of school) is a day that can be filled with mixed emotions. I look forward to a quiet house and office for 6 hours a day. Although most of my workouts these days are done at The Fit Pit, I still manage to get in a run or two a week. And those runs are, of course, powered by good tunes.
